About Nationals Park
Nationals Park is the home stadium of the Washington Nationals, opened in 2008 along the Anacostia River in the fast-developing Capitol Riverfront/Navy Yard neighborhood. The ballpark has become an anchor for the surrounding district's restaurants, bars, and residential development. On non-game days, the Nationals offer behind-the-scenes Governor's Tours covering areas like the dugout, clubhouse, and press box, while pregame tours are available on select game days. The stadium also hosts concerts and other special events during the off-season. The ballpark is easily reached via the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro station (Green Line) and is a short walk from The Wharf and Capitol Riverfront waterfront paths.
