Android Chrome does not show an install icon in the address bar like desktop does — the option always lives in the ⋮ menu. If you don't see it, make sure you're not in an Incognito tab.

Is VoyGlobe really free to install?+
Yes. Installing the app costs nothing and there is no app store download. It adds a VoyGlobe icon to your home screen or desktop that opens the full site in its own window.
Why isn't VoyGlobe in the App Store or Google Play?+
VoyGlobe is a Progressive Web App — it installs directly from your browser. That means no store approval delays, no large download, and you always get the latest version automatically.
I don't see an “Install app” option on my Android phone. Why?+
The most common cause is browsing in an Incognito tab — Chrome hides the install option there. Open VoyGlobe in a normal tab, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right, and look for “Install app” or “Add to Home screen.” On Android there is no address-bar install icon like on desktop — it's always in the menu.
How do I install on iPhone?+
Apple doesn't allow one-tap install prompts. Open VoyGlobe in Safari, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), scroll down, and tap “Add to Home Screen.” The icon then appears alongside your other apps.
Does the installed app work offline?+
Yes. Pages you've visited, photos, and the app itself are saved on your device, so you can reopen VoyGlobe on the subway or a plane. Live features like GlobeGuide AI and booking links still need a connection.
Does installing use a lot of storage or battery?+
No. VoyGlobe takes a small fraction of the space of a typical app-store app and only runs when you open it — there's no background activity.
How do I uninstall it?+
On Android, long-press the VoyGlobe icon and choose Uninstall (or remove it from Settings → Apps). On iPhone, long-press the icon and tap Remove App. On desktop Chrome, open the app, click the three-dot menu in its window, and choose Uninstall.
