What we store

If you create an account we store your email address and the trips and itineraries you save, so we can show them back to you when you sign in.

With your consent (or automatically outside the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland), we count anonymous page views, searches, plans built, partner-link clicks and upgrades using a random ID stored on your device (vg_visitor_id). None of these counts are linked to your account, even when you are signed in. We don't store your name, email, IP address or location with these counts, use no outside analytics trackers, honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and delete them after 13 months.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and are never stored on our servers; we keep only your subscription status.

Partner links

When you tap a booking or partner link (and analytics is allowed) we record anonymously which partner and page it was, the city, language and device type, with the random device ID — never your account, name or IP address. The link itself is not changed. Partners may set their own cookies once you leave our site.

Cookies, device storage and third parties

  • Strictly necessary (always on): your sign-in session, your language and settings choices, and your cookie choice itself, stored on your device. Signing in uses our backend provider's authentication; signing in with Google or connecting Google Calendar happens only when you choose to and takes you to Google.
  • Analytics (needs consent in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland): the random device ID and anonymous events described above. Nothing is sent and no ID is created until you agree.
  • Third-party content (needs consent in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland): embedded Google Maps on attraction pages and booking widgets from Travelpayouts and GetYourGuide. These providers may set their own cookies, so we show a placeholder until you allow them. Map pages load map tiles from Mapbox, and fonts load from Google Fonts; these requests share your IP address with those providers.

To change or withdraw your choice at any time, open “Cookie settings” in the footer. Turning analytics off deletes the device ID immediately and stops further events.
