Getting here
- Roosevelt Island Tramway1.5 km from the centre of Upper East SideThe tram lifts from Second Avenue at 60th Street and glides beside the Queensboro Bridge to Roosevelt Island in about four minutes, climbing 250 feet above the river. It takes the same fare as the subway and offers one of the cheapest skyline rides in the city.
