About Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas
The Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, is situated on the campus of the Springs Preserve. It is one of several Nevada State Museums overseen by the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. This museum features exhibits on the natural history of the region and traces the development of Las Vegas. Its name was updated in 2008 when it relocated from Lorenzi Park to its current site.
