About Fremont Street Experience
Located in downtown Las Vegas, the Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian mall occupying five blocks of Fremont Street, including the historic "Glitter Gulch" area. Its main feature is a barrel vault canopy, 90 feet high and 1,375 feet long, which hosts regular light shows. During these shows, the lights on all buildings and casinos under the canopy are turned off, and a crossing street is temporarily blocked for safety. The venue also features three stages for concerts, which are typically free. It is a significant tourist attraction for downtown Las Vegas, home to the SlotZilla zip lines, and the site of the city's annual New Year's Eve celebration.
