約40年間、世界一の高さを誇ったエンパイアステートビルディングは、その尖塔を含めると1,454フィート（約443メートル）の高さにそびえ立っています。86階の屋外展望デッキからはマンハッタンを360度見渡せる壮大な景色が広がり、さらに高い位置にある102階の屋内展望台からも絶景を楽しめます。上層階は夜になると、祝日や市内のイベントに合わせて色とりどりのライトアップで彩られます。
